The Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce is always looking for men and women to volunteer in the chamber visitor center and during the many heritage events that we produced annually for our community. If you have a love for our community and meeting new people, we need you!
The Wickenburg Police Volunteers are a team of trained citizens volunteers who assist Police with duties and value added services that allow Officers to Focus on crime reduction. Click below for more information
Webb Center Volunteers ensure the welfare, comfort, safety and enjoyment of all theatre patrons in a welcoming, courteous and respectful manner by greeting patrons as they arrive, taking tickets, offering programs and information, and escorting patrons to their seats. The Desert Caballeros Museum needs volunteers for the Admissions Desk, Gallery Guides, Museum store and special events. For more information click on the red box below.
Pets awaiting forever homes need extra T.L.C.! One program involves volunteers going to various locations around the community, setting up a booth, and soliciting donations for HSW. The“P.E.T.” program involves taking dogs to visit patients in convalescent homes, hospitals, and retirement facilities. We operate a no-kill animal shelter that temporarily house homeless dogs and cats. below for all the opportunities.
K9 Konnection is a Not for Profit organization with a "No Kill" philosophy and are dedicated to the rescue, shelter, re-uniting, and re-homing of animals in need. If you would like to volunteer please click below.
The Little Red Schoolhouse needs volunteers to help open the building for visitors. If you have some time to meet and greet guests please contact us. We have many people stop by to view the schoolhouse, view the various pictures of students and to “remember the old days.” A great way to meet many wonderful people.

The Wickenburg Unified School District encourages parents/guardians and other members of our community to share their time, knowledge, and abilities with our students. Community volunteers in our schools enrich the educational program and strengthen our schools’ relationships.
Wickenburg Conservation Foundation needs volunteers to assist with trail maintenance at the Pulte Trail behind the Hassayampa Elementary School and Sophie's Flat trails. Volunteers clear brush, repair and realign trails and replace signage. Volunteers are also needed to develop, lead and assist with outdoor education programming for students and adults and to assist with publicity and fundraising.

We have a commitment to the education, enjoyment and advancement of the community of Wickenburg. The Friends of the Wickenburg Public Library, Inc. is a non-profit, all-volunteer community organization whose members support the library thru a variety of activities. Our volunteers help us raise money for books, magazine and newspaper subscriptions, the message board now seen at the library and more for the patrons of the library to enjoy. In the summer and fall we need people to get prize donations and speakers, recruit West Valley teams, and help with publicity for our annual fundraiser "Wickenburg Walks to Boot Breast Cancer" held the 3rd Sunday in October in downtown Wickenburg. The Southern Unit is a team of skilled volunteers that operates 24/7/365 out of the Wickenburg area . The unit covers the southern half of Yavapai County in searching for and rescuing lost/missing/injured/stranded persons. As diverse as the geography it covers, our team also supports fire and flooding emergencies by evacuating and/or doing traffic control. Under the direction of the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office, this unit has multiple areas of expertise---quads, 4x4 vehicles, ground tracking and communications. Email: SYCSRT@YCSRT.org
Do you want to do something meaningful and volunteer in a beautiful place? The Hassayampa River Preserve, the newest addition to the Maricopa County park system, is currently seeking volunteers. Opportunities include greeting visitors and collecting fees in the Visitor Center, assisting with trail maintenance, assisting with ranger-guided educational programs, collecting citizen science observations, administrative tasks, or other special projects depending on your skills and interests. With a vision of bringing this special town back to life, the Vulture City Family embarked on this monumental and historically significant project in 2017. Since then, over 15 buildings have been restored and the word is getting out. Every day brings more and more visitors to our little town and we could REALLY use some help!
